Born and raised in Norman,
Oklahoma, Doyle McAlister began singing in front of
audiences at his parents' revival meetings at the age of two years. He
accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and joined his first
organized quartet as Bass Singer when he was twelve. Doyle received much of
his Gospel Music training by attending The Stamps Quartet Schools of Music
and as Bass Singer for the well-known Weatherford Quartet. He accepted the
call of God to minister through gospel music early in his life and has a
passion for professionalism in performance and annointing in ministry.
Doyle and his wife, Pam, have two sons, Brad and James, who are both
actively involved in Christian music and ministry. Pam is also very
involved in the audio production of The Tulsans Quartet in live
performances as well as studio recordings.
